Success of the MAMI Approach in Saving Baby Khadija and Improving Her Nutrition

Through the efforts of our Nutrition team's MAMI approach (Management of Acute Malnutrition in Infants and Mothers), baby Khadija was admitted to the Stabilization Care Center at just 3 months old, suffering from severe malnutrition with a MUAC of 80 mm. With comprehensive medical care and continuous nutritional support, her condition improved significantly. Upon discharge, her MUAC increased to 96 mm, and she gained 1.35 kg. Given the challenging living conditions her family faces, they were also enrolled in the food voucher program in BAHAR organization to further enhance their nutritional status and alleviate their hardships
