From Darkness to Light

Health

Once, I was on the brink of losing everything. My name is Sabr al-Din Dawood, and this is the story of my battle with illness and the glimmer of hope that eventually emerged.

It all began when I fell ill, and before I knew it, I was slipping into a coma. For four long days, I lay unconscious, unaware of the world around me. When I finally came to, I found myself in a hospital bed, surrounded by doctors and nurses who were tirelessly working to save me.

Dr. Abdul Salam, in particular, was instrumental in my recovery. With his expertise and care, I gradually regained my strength. Day by day, I took small steps forward, thanks to the dedication of the medical team and the support of my family.

But even as my health improved, there were still challenges to overcome. I struggled with anemia and the lingering effects of smoking, but with determination, I managed to kick the habit for good.

Reflecting on those dark days, I couldn’t help but wonder how I had managed to slip away for so long without even realizing it. It was a terrifying thought, but one that I pushed aside as I focused on the present and the future ahead.

Back at home, surrounded by my loved ones, I found solace in their presence. My wife stood by me through it all, her unwavering support giving me the strength to keep fighting. And when I faltered, it was my son who lifted me up, carrying me when I could not walk on my own.

As I look back on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the second chance I’ve been given. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the medical team at Bahar Hospital, I am alive and well today. Their kindness and compassion knew no bounds, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

So, to Dr. Abdul Salam, to Bahar Hospital, and to all those who supported me along the way, I say thank you. You turned my tragedy into triumph, and for that, I will always be thankful.
