In the mountainous village of Qada in Rajo sub-district, securing water was a daily challenge that placed a heavy burden on the community.
There are no nearby water sources, no wells, and water tankers are costly—something many families cannot afford.
But with the rainwater harvesting project implemented by Bahar Organization, change began.
Rifaat Hasan Haj Mousa was one of the project participants. He received a five-day training on how to store rainwater and use it for agriculture and daily life. After the training, he received the equipment needed to install the system, including a water tank, solar panels, a pump, and drip irrigation materials.
Today, Rifaat is using this system on his land, turning rainwater into a real source of support for his family and farming.
