In Al-Shaafa city in Deir ez-Zor, Yaqeen Khaled Al-Hussein (13 years old) faced difficult living conditions after her father left home, which caused the family’s financial situation to deteriorate significantly. As a result, Yaqeen was forced to drop out of school for a full year, affecting her education and depriving her of her right to learn.

Despite these challenges, Yaqeen had a remarkable talent for writing fiction stories, a talent that was at risk of fading due to her interruption from education.

With Bahar Organization’s arrival in Al-Shaafa village and the implementation of the Remedial and Accelerated Education Project in the school near Yaqeen’s home, she was given a new opportunity to return to learning. She was enrolled in the new school, where teachers began providing her with academic support and encouraging her to participate actively in class and school activities.
