Abdullah, a farmer from Al-Jina town in rural Aleppo, works every day on his land to support his family.
Abdullah benefited from Bahar Organization’s agricultural trainings on soil improvement, proper fertilization techniques, and plant disease control, which helped him develop his farming practices and manage his field in a more scientific and efficient way.
Through these trainings, Abdullah learned how to better understand soil needs, apply fertilizers correctly, and address crop diseases that could threaten his harvest. These skills have helped him improve the quality of his production and better manage his farmland.
Despite these positive steps, Abdullah still faces major challenges, including rising production costs, low market prices for crops, and the lack of cold storage facilities.
Like many farmers in the region, Abdullah hopes for greater support that can help farmers sustain their work, improve agricultural productivity, and strengthen rural livelihoods.
