Mohammad Mahw, a farmer from Kharabat Salouk village in Rajo sub-district, is one of dozens of farmers who have benefited from BAHAR Organization’s interventions to support #Agricultural_Livelihoods in the area.The support began with the provision of #Vegetable_Seed_Kits and agricultural tools, enabling Mohammad and his family to grow their basic food needs at home and reduce the burden of purchasing vegetables amid difficult economic conditions. Later, Mohammad joined #Olive_Harvesting_Project alongside 15 people from his community. The project provided a work opportunity that lasted for ten days and is still ongoing, contributing to an income that helped cover daily needs.
The importance of this project is evident in an area that has suffered from #Rainfall_Shortages and increasingly difficult farming conditions for the past three years. Most residents rely on #Agriculture as their sole source of income, with limited alternatives for work or the ability to relocate to cities.
