Food security and Livelihoods

From #Kansaba, Nabiha Hussein Balilo began her journey in #sewing nearly seven years ago with a clear dream: to grow her home-based project and provide a dignified life for her family, while caring for two children with disabilities.

Despite the challenges, Nabiha never stopped trying. Through the trainings implemented by #BaharOrganization, she gained new skills in #ProjectManagement, feasibility studies, time management, customer relations, and marketing.

After completing the training, she received essential equipment, including sewing and stitching machines, helping her start a new phase of work with greater confidence and improved quality.

Today, Nabiha works from home, weaving a story of resilience and hope for herself and her children, one stitch at a time.

Nabiha’s story reminds us that #empowerment is not only about providing support. It is about opening a real door for women to turn their skills into projects that bring #stability and #dignity to their families.
