Bahar Organization has completed the distribution of food vouchers under the “Istidama” project, with the aim of strengthening food security in the affected neighborhoods of Aleppo and contributing to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable families.

A total of 2,785 families in 10 neighborhoods benefited from this project, enabling them to purchase their essential food needs from pre-approved local markets. This contributed to providing a diverse food basket that met their needs for proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, and spices.

This intervention also supported targeted vulnerable families while preserving beneficiaries’ dignity by giving them the freedom to choose the food items that best suited their needs.
