After the #Liberation_of_Tal_Rifaat, Mohammed Walid Ahmad Maryameeni returned to his home after years of #displacement, only to find the #house in very poor condition, lacking even the most basic necessities of #life:
Mohammed was displaced from Tal Rifaat in 2016 and remained displaced until its #liberation. His family lived in #camps under extremely harsh conditions, staying in tents set up among olive trees and suffering from #mud in the #winter, #extreme_cold, and #intense_heat in the #summer. The #tent provided only minimal cover, with blankets or strings used instead of doors.
After the family’s #return home and the improvement of the #security_situation, #Bahar_Organization intervened and provided support, including the installation of #doors and #windows, as well as other #maintenance_work, which had a direct impact on the family’s life.
Today, Mohammed and his family’s life is completely different from life in the #tent. They are now able to close the doors of their home and sleep in #safety and #peace_of_mind. They are no longer suffering from the hardships of #cold and #heat, and their #home now provides them and their #children with #warmth, #stability, and a true sense of #security.
