As part of the #EarlyRecovery project in #Syria and in partnership with #Diakonie, #BaharOrganization carried out comprehensive rehabilitation works for the #AlKfeir bakery in rural #Idlib. The intervention included major structural improvements and the installation of a complete production line featuring a 200 kg dough mixer, triple cutter, automatic sheeter, final proofer, a modern furnace lined with high-temperature resistant fire bricks, and a 1000-liter water cooler. This project aims to strengthen #FoodSecurity and ensure the continuous availability of #bread for local communities, with the bakery now serving 18 villages daily—contributing to #livelihood stabilization and supporting #community resilience in the path toward sustainable recovery.
