Empowerment That Opens Pathways to the Future

The safe space for women and girls in Afrin provides vocational empowerment programs aimed at supporting women and girls economically and strengthening their ability to become self-reliant, within a safe and supportive environment that addresses their psychosocial needs. The programs include vocational training in tailoring for a duration of three months, benefiting 18 women, and hairdressing training for three months, benefiting 39 women, helping participants develop practical skills and access future income-generating opportunities. These trainings are complemented by psychosocial support activities, reaching 36 beneficiaries monthly, as well as outreach awareness sessions targeting 24 beneficiaries per month, contributing to increased self-confidence and sustainable social and economic integration.
