As the year comes to a close, we wrap up December with rich experiences of collaboration and constructive dialogue across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus, with a strong focus on refugees, displaced communities, and gender-inclusive approaches.

From Amman to Geneva, we took part in the WPS Regional Open Day (UN Women) and the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Progress Review organized by UNHCR, where we exchanged experiences and explored ways to uphold refugees’ rights and advance safe, dignified, and voluntary return, alongside protection, livelihoods, participation, and social cohesion.

These engagements also provided an important opportunity to connect with Syrian civil society organisations, engage with the Syrian transitional government delegation, and meet representatives of governments and international actors—strengthening partnerships and turning dialogue into practical steps on the ground.

We look ahead to 2026 with a shared commitment to deepen protection, inclusion, dignity, and resilience, and to help build a safer future for refugees and returnees.
