A Delegation from the UK Foreign Office Visits Bahar Organization’s Office in Damascus

A delegation from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) visited the Bahar Organization office in Damascus on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, where a brief presentation was delivered on the key projects funded by the British government and implemented by Bahar across Syria.

The discussions covered future prospects for British funding and support for humanitarian and development programs, in addition to highlighting the positive and effective role of civil society organizations in shaping Syria’s future and their importance in strengthening stability and social cohesion.

Bahar Organization emphasized the importance of supporting stabilization programs and the gradual transition from emergency assistance to sustainable programs that empower local communities and enhance their resilience.
