In the town of Al-Shaafa in Deir ez-Zor countryside, the #NonFormalEducation project (accelerated and remedial, integrated with technology) continues its work alongside #PsychosocialSupport sessions and #ChildProtection services.

The project contributes to rehabilitating four schools in Al-Shaafa city: Al-Shaafa West School, Al-Hussiya Primary School, Al-Shaafa East School, and Al-Nafeela Primary School, in order to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children.

In addition, we conduct awareness and community mobilization sessions on #ChildProtection issues for children, caregivers, and community members, with the aim of strengthening a culture of protection within the local community.

Currently, the project targets 1,100 girls and boys in Al-Hussiya (Eastern and Al-Oula schools), and 1,100 girls and boys in Al-Nafeela and Al-Oula schools in Al-Shaafa, through #NonFormalEducation activities, #PSS sessions, awareness sessions, and #eLearning.
