Measles Vaccine Campaign Training

As part of the preparations for the upcoming Measles and Rubella vaccination campaign,
Bahar Organization and the Syria Vaccine Team, in collaboration with the Health Directorates of Idleb and Aleppo, and with funding from UNICEF – Aleppo Office, organized a training workshop for community mobilization officers under the framework of the Social and Behavior Change (SBC) program in Idleb and Aleppo.
The training covered the following key topics:
Overview of measles, its risks, and prevention methods.
Campaign objectives and the vital role of community engagement in ensuring success.
Effective communication, persuasion, and rumor management skills.
Presentation of real-life field experiences and practical scenarios.
Discussion of operational plans and implementation mechanisms for mobile teams.
The training aims to enhance the preparedness and capacity of field teams to implement effective community mobilization and awareness activities, ensuring that the safe and effective vaccine reaches every child in the community
