The challenges facing the #medical and #humanitarian sectors in #AsSuwayda continue to escalate, increasing the suffering of the most vulnerable groups. This prompted an urgent intervention by #BaharOrganization, which launched a field response focused on the #healthcare sector to support thousands of patients affected by the collapse of essential services.

A total of 28 medical kits were delivered to the Doctors’ Syndicate in As-Suwayda, to be distributed to #AsSuwaydaHospital, #SalakhadHospital, #ShahbaHospital, and the #PrimaryHealthcareCenter at the syndicate.

The kits contain medications for chronic illnesses such as #diabetes, #hypertension, #cardiovascularDiseases, and other conditions categorized under #PrimaryHealthcare. They aim to cover the needs of over 10,000 beneficiaries, including #children, #women, and the #elderly.

During the visit, Bahar’s team met with the Doctors’ Syndicate, visited the #Shahba refugees gathering, and participated in an extended coordination meeting with directors of public services (health, water, electricity, municipalities) and representatives from #UN agencies, to assess the situation in the governorate and define key #humanitarian priorities.

Through this response, #Bahar reaffirms its firm commitment to delivering life-saving medical support in areas with severely limited resources and services.
