From Douma in Rural Damascus, Bahar Organization continues to expand its response to strengthen livelihoods in affected communities, as it has launched a survey to prepare for the implementation of the “Cash-for-Work” activity. This initiative will provide job opportunities for 150 individuals (100 in food production and 50 in vegetable and olive harvesting) with a daily wage of 7 USD, as part of early recovery efforts to support vulnerable families and enhance their resilience. The program aims to enable individuals to secure a dignified income to meet their basic needs, contribute to revitalizing the local economy, and foster a spirit of cooperation and productivity within the community, creating a more stable and resilient environment in the face of challenges.
