A delegation from UNICEF, accompanied by members of the Office of NGO Affairs, visited the Bahar Al-Sadeeq Child Center in the city of Kobani, where the Bahar Organization gave a comprehensive presentation on the humanitarian context in the city and the challenges it has faced over the past years. The presentation also reviewed the history of its humanitarian responses and the results of the latest needs assessment.

The visit emphasized the importance of local partnerships in strengthening child protection and providing a safe environment for children, especially in areas still recovering from the effects of conflict, such as Kobani.

The center also aims to provide various educational and recreational activities, in addition to psychosocial support programs, contributing to the empowerment of children, helping them build resilience in the face of challenges, and enhancing their positive participation in society — all within ongoing efforts to strengthen humanitarian work in Syria.
