Coordination Meeting to Strengthen Humanitarian Action in Raqqa

Bahar Organization hosted an important coordination meeting at its office, bringing together representatives of local organizations working in Raqqa Governorate with the team of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), represented by the Head of Office, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Ali, and Mr. Mohammad Mteiran, with the participation of representatives from the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and joint coordination mechanisms among humanitarian actors, contributing to better organization of humanitarian work in Raqqa and ensuring a more efficient and equitable distribution of sectors and support to meet the needs of local communities and enhance the impact of the humanitarian response.
Participants also discussed the importance of planning training workshops aimed at building the capacities of local organizations and improving their performance, which will positively contribute to the quality and sustainability of humanitarian services.
