With the support of AFS, BAHAR Organization continues implementing the “Promoting Self-Reliance” project in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah Governorate, aiming to address urgent needs while strengthening the recovery and stability of affected communities.

The field intervention focuses on Al-Shaddadi – Markada sub-district, supporting families affected by floods and the most vulnerable community groups by providing essential relief assistance that helps reduce daily burdens and strengthen community #resilience.

As part of the integrated #HumanitarianResponse plan, 1,580 ready-to-eat food baskets have been distributed so far to 790 families through four distribution rounds, ensuring that essential support reaches those most in need.

These efforts reflect a broader vision that connects immediate relief with more sustainable solutions, contributing to enhanced #SelfReliance and improved stability for families affected by natural crises.
