Within the second phase of the Building Local Resilience in Syria #BLRS2 project, Bahar Organization #Bahar is implementing the Farmer Field Schools #FFS project in partnership with FAO across seven Syrian governorates, through 446 specialized field schools.

In Aleppo, the project includes 95 field schools that support small-scale producers and livestock breeders in adopting climate-smart agriculture practices and improving their livelihoods.

As part of the project, Bahar organized a joint field visit with FAO representatives to field schools in eastern rural Aleppo, including a cattle school in Deir Hafer – Hamima Kabira and a wheat school in Al-Safira – Tal Istabl.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed field sessions, farmers’ engagement, success stories, and adoption rates, highlighting Bahar Organization’s role as an implementing partner within the project.
