Under the patronage of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Latakia, Bahar Organization, in partnership with Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), launched a project to support summer fruit farmers in the Kessab and Qastal Maaf areas in northern rural Latakia.

The first phase of the project included registering beneficiary families according to specific criteria that take into account the economic and agricultural conditions, in preparation for providing the designated forms of support under the project.

The project aims to empower low-income families to develop their agricultural activities and enhance their ability to continue and expand, contributing to improved income levels, strengthening local food security, and supporting the stability of rural communities in the area.
