Bahar continues its humanitarian mission to support the most affected populations across Syria, where the Jazrat Al-Bouhamid water station has been rehabilitated to secure access to water for more than 16,000 people in rural Deir Ezzor.

Technical workshops of the General Establishment for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with BAHAR Organization, have completed the rehabilitation of the Jazrat Al-Bouhamid water station located in the northwestern part of the governorate, ensuring a stable water supply for over 16,000 people after decades of hardship due to the lack of a functioning station in the area.

The rehabilitation works included:

  • Installing a raw water pumping unit with a capacity of 200 m³/hour and a lifting height of 85 meters.
  • Installing three metal filtration units for water treatment.
  • Laying a 6,450-meter water pipeline connecting the raw water pumping station to the treatment station.
  • Equipping the station with an air compressor dedicated to filter cleaning and ensuring operational efficiency.
