As part of early recovery efforts in earthquake-affected areas of northwest Syria, Bahar Organization continues to rehabilitate vital infrastructure, helping communities regain access to essential services and strengthen their resilience.

In this context, Bahar is currently rehabilitating two public bakeries in Darat Azza and the Jisr Al-Shughur area — Darat Azza Automatic Bakery and Al-Kafeer Bakery — with the aim of restoring their operations after they were damaged by the earthquake.

The rehabilitation work includes repairing and restoring damaged structural elements, improving occupational safety conditions, and ensuring efficient and sustainable operation once implementation is completed. This project also contributes to supporting livelihoods and enhancing community stability by reactivating essential facilities that provide bread as a key food item for local residents.
