A UNICEF delegation visited As-Sweida Governorate, accompanied by the #Bahar team on a field visit that began with two collective shelters in Salkhad, rural As-Sweida.

During the visit, the delegation observed the distribution of 173 women’s hygiene kits, supporting the health and dignity of women in displacement settings.

Bahar team also conducted a hygiene awareness activity for children, including educational sessions, artistic, and recreational activities. In addition, an awareness session was held with women in the shelters, focusing on hygiene practices and protection from sexual exploitation and abuse.

The visit concluded with a tour by the UNICEF delegation to protection centers in As-Sweida, aiming to review services and strengthen collaboration to support the most vulnerable communities.
