Strengthening Social and Behavior Change for Improved Health and Hygiene in Daraa

As part of efforts to strengthen the health response and promote better hygiene practices within communities, a two-day training funded by UNICEF on Social and Behavior Change (SBC) was conducted for 20 members of Bahar Organization’s team in Daraa Governorate.
The training aimed to equip the team with the knowledge and skills needed to implement community behavior change activities related to hygiene and public health in the project’s targeted areas, contributing to increased awareness and encouraging healthier practices among community members.
The sessions focused on enhancing participants’ abilities in designing and delivering community awareness sessions, communicating effectively with communities, and promoting positive health and hygiene behaviors, supporting sustainable improvements in hygiene practices.
