Joint Field Visit by Bahar and UNICEF to Assess Humanitarian Conditions in Kobani

In light of the rapidly evolving humanitarian developments in northern Syria, Bahar Organization welcomed a delegation from UNICEF during a field visit to the city of Kobani.
The visit began with a tour of Vienna Hospital, currently used as a shelter center, where Bahar’s Child Protection Center team accompanied the delegation to observe the conditions of displaced families and assess children’s needs on site. This was followed by a visit to Bahar’s Child Protection Center, where the services provided to support children and promote a safe environment were presented through protection activities and psychosocial support, contributing to strengthening the resilience of children and their families amid the ongoing circumstances.
The visit also included a stop at the water station in the western villages of Kobani, to review the status of water services and the importance of ensuring continuity amid existing challenges.
The tour concluded with a visit to a school currently being used as a shelter center, in the presence of Bahar’s Child Protection team, reaffirming the shared commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups, especially children.
